Persons in images
AiCaption automatically recognizes persons in images and fills in names and titles. Saving the photographers from having to look up correct names and spellings.
The system learns from every image. If you upload an image with people it doesn't know, it will use that for images of everyone in the future.
A smart algorithm in the background makes sure that only correct names are attached to faces. So we don't have any mismatches.
Personas and Entities
The system first detects if there are any faces in the image, then checks if it can recognize the person. If the level of confidence is above the default threshold, it fills the input field.

The personas panel in the stills view.
What if the system misses a face?
You can always add more faces if the system missed a face, there are three ways to add personas.
-
You can simply skip the Personas Panel and manually type the title and name in the caption field like you are used to.
Another way is to click the
button in the peronas panel.
This opens a field in the panel, you can start typing there and get suggestions and autocomplete.-
Personas Right, Left and Center
The system automatically enters the person's position in the caption. You can toggle the checkboxes to make changes reflected in the caption.

Groups instead of Persons
When you don't shoot a specific person, remove the detected faces and type a generic group name and choose from the suggestions if available.

Generic groups instead of a specific person
Persons Shown
In some caption's structures, The AP, for example, names of recognized persons are auto filled in the persons shown field.

The name without the title is added to the persons shown for some styles.
Personas Candidates.

Newly added persons become candidates for recognition in the future.
After enough people confirm the identity of that face, the system starts recognizing the face.
It constantly learns, so very quickly it recognizes persons it did not in the past.
